Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating a variety of construction equipment, including dozers, excavators, front loaders, rollers, and more. The primary responsibility will be to operate a dozer to perform both rough and fine grading tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate construction equipment such as dozers, excavators, front loaders, and rollers.
• Perform rough and fine grading work using a dozer.
• Ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently on construction sites.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and report any issues.
• Collaborate with the construction team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Utilize GPS systems effectively.

Work Environment

The position requires full-time work on a construction site. Employees must wear appropriate construction work attire and personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rincon, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
