What you'll be doing
Role : As a Senior Civil Engineer and Project Manager, you will lead projects from conception through completion, overseeing technical execution, team coordination, and client engagement. Your role will include :
- Lead Project Planning : Define goals, expectations, and processes that align with company guidelines to guide each project's success.
- Drive Workflows : Develop, manage, and adjust project work plans to meet changing demands and timelines.
- Oversee Daily Execution : Take charge of the day-to-day coordination and delivery of project scopes.
- Foster Client Connections : Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with clients to support successful outcomes and future opportunities.
- Run Collaborative Meetings : Facilitate productive team and client discussions that keep projects moving forward.
- Guide and Mentor Staff : Provide direction to engineering staff and oversee CAD technician contributions to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Manage Project Documentation : Initiate, maintain, and finalize all project-related documentation in a timely and thorough manner.
- Handle Budgets with Care : Monitor project financials to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with client expectations.
- Pursue New Work : Engage with existing and potential clients to uncover and explore upcoming project needs.
- Support Business Development : Help prepare proposals, take part in interviews, and contribute to presentations to win new work.
- Communicate with Impact : Share information clearly and professionally in both written and spoken communication.
- Work with Confidence : Operate with autonomy, demonstrating initiative and accountability in moving tasks forward.
- Safeguard Contracts : Manage contract terms and project finances while maintaining positive, professional client relationships.
- Ensure Quality : Perform thorough reviews and provide feedback on designs, calculations, and engineering deliverables.
