Summary :

The Occupational Therapist utilizes professional knowledge and behaviors to evaluate / assess and treat patients with a variety of physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities.

Responsibilities :

  • Utilizes professional knowledge and behaviors to evaluate, assess and treat patients with a variety of physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities.
  • Communicates effectively with patient, family members, and team members as needed.
  • Performs appropriate and necessary documentation and patient / family education, per division protocols.
  • Supervises COTA / L, volunteer, or student per OT regulations.
  • Other duties as required.

Technical Expertise

  • Experience in pediatric occupational therapy is preferred.
  • Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
  • Experience in healthcare is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.

    • Education and Experience

  • Education : Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Certification : Certification by National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and current Ohio state licensure is required.
  • Years of relevant experience : 3 to 5 years is preferred.
  • Years of experience supervising : None.
