Systems Analyst Sr- REMOTE
Job Description
The Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for creating standard and custom reporting, improving report efficiencies and improving report workflow processes for current SAS driven analytics. This position plays a key role in both understanding business needs and implementing the technical processes necessary to fulfill business requirements.
Responsibilities
Consult with internal stakeholders to generate business requirements, interpret business needs and align to technical capabilities
Identify and manage project scope and all subsequent activities required to drive assignments through completion, which includes but is not limited to intake, prioritization, impact analysis, identification and management of deadlines, and pro-active communication with internal business partners regarding status, obstacles, or completion
Partner with Information Management and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are effectively moved into production at the conclusion of the project lifecycle, which includes coordinating user acceptance testing with the business sponsors
Develop and maintain data, models, reports and ad hoc analytics to support business needs and assist management and / or clients with the interpretation and use
Act as a liaison between Reporting and Analytics, Information Management and other internal business partners regarding report development or enhancements, implementations, and business process improvements
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Information Systems or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and / or related work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
5 years of SAS development (v9 or greater), SAS Enterprise Guide and / or SQL experience with large data sets
5 years managing multiple projects including developing requirements, analysis, and implementations
Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications
Proven problem solver using quick prototype, iterative methodology
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to facilitate and present basic concepts to a variety of audiences at differing levels in the organization
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
PBM or healthcare experience
Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Science or Engineering
5 years of advanced "utility" development skills using analytical tools like SQL, .Net, advanced MS Access, MS Excel, OBIEE, Microstrategy, SPSS, SSIS, SSAS, etc.
5 years of experience with enterprise level data warehouse and / or business analysis experience

Potential pay for this position ranges from $81,000.00 - $138,000.00 based on experience and skills.
