ABOUT THE ROLE :

The Facilities Operations Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our physical workspace. Focused on behind-the-scenes operations, this role manages shipping and receiving, tracks incoming and outgoing deliveries, and ensures supplies and equipment are properly inventoried and stored. They perform light maintenance tasks including furniture assembly, equipment troubleshooting, and hanging signage, contributing to a safe, functional, and well-organized environment.

While this role may occasionally support front-end calendar management and meeting logistics, the primary focus is on the operational and logistical needs that keep our facility running efficiently. This individual takes initiative, solves problems proactively, and supports both internal teams and visiting clients by maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and high-performing workspace.

WHAT YOU'LL DO : Responsibilities

  • Partner with management to manage the calendar for Boeing stakeholders, scheduling meetings and events while proactively resolving conflicts and logistical challenges.
  • Contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to Teague safety policies.
  • Keep the lobby and common areas clean and organized, making adjustments as needed to maintain a professional atmosphere.
  • Maintain quality control for catering and janitorial services, ensuring all areas are clean, stocked, and presentable for use and service.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Partner with management to support facilities projects, space reconfigurations, and vendor coordination.
  • Perform light maintenance and facilities tasks, such as assembling or relocating furniture, troubleshooting minor equipment issues, and hanging signage.

  • Triage facilities issues that arise by coordinating with vendors, technicians, and IT support.
  • Proactively identify areas for process or space improvements and implement solutions that support a productive and organized workplace.

  • Provide administrative support for clients and meeting leads by coordinating event bookings, arranging catering, and ensuring smooth on-site logistics.
  • Receive, log, and distribute shipments; coordinate outgoing deliveries and special handling requirements as needed.
  • Support the setup and breakdown of furniture, equipment, and supplies for meetings, moves, or events.
  • Occasionally assist with front-of-house logistics, including visitor registration and escort procedures, as backup support.
  • Track and manage inventory for facility-related supplies, including office essentials, paper products, food and beverages, and first aid kits.
  • WHAT YOU BRING :

  • 2+ years of experience in facilities coordination, logistics, warehouse support, or office services.
  • Experience using hand tools, performing light maintenance tasks, and working in environments that require physical activity.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one (preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience using digital tools (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) and potentially event calendar management or event booking systems.

  • The compensation for this job in most US geographic locations is $30.00 per hour.

Individual salaries within this range are determined through various factors, including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. Full-time employees accrue 4 weeks of paid time off per year (prorated for part-time hires) and 10 paid holidays per fiscal year.     We are a Washington State-based company. All employees must reside in Washington (unless otherwise noted for specific roles) and be able to access one of our studio locations in the greater Seattle area.
