Working knowledge of regulations and regulatory agencies, such as OSHA, EPA, and zoning law. Understanding of the capability and proper utilization of blueprints, machinery, and equipment used in heavy / highway construction. Must be familiar with local PA area. Rotating Shift Work. Starting nights, 6pm -6am, then moving to shift rotation. Fast-paced and dynamic highway construction sites. Collaborative team environment with a focus on safety and quality. What You'll Be Doing
- Supervise construction site employees in a Highway / Interstate environment.
- Oversee proper implementation of safety procedures.
- Assist with the planning and scheduling of work to meet project needs.
- Manage and optimize the operations at the site to include planning, personnel, equipment, quality, costs, and maintenance.
- Communicate and coordinate with Construction Manager to ensure work load is scheduled and performed to meet the needs of the project.
- Performs other related job duties as assigned.
