York Building Products is seeking a dedicated and mechanically inclined Machine Operator Trainee to join our Masonry team. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of our block manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain block machines and related batching, handling, and packaging equipment for all parts of the daily production cycle.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to meet production goals.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and troubleshoot and perform minor repairs.
- Achieve production goals while adhering to strong quality standards
- Inspect finished and in-process products, taking corrective action as needed.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.
