Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with affordable housing programsincluding LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, and HOMEacross a portfolio of properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in affordable housing regulations and a commitment to accuracy and detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve resident applications, move-ins, and annual recertifications
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local housing regulations
• Prepare for and support HUD, LIHTC, and other program audits / reviews
• Maintain accurate tenant files, compliance records, and reporting databases
• Assist with new property lease-ups and initial compliance processes
• Provide guidance and support to on-site staff regarding compliance policies and procedures
• Stay current on regulatory updates and contribute to training initiatives
