Base pay range : $25.89 / hr - $30.45 / hr
Full range : $25.89 - $35.02
Preferred hiring range : $25.89 - $30.45
This posting includes the full pay range to reflect potential compensation growth within the organization. New hires are placed within the preferred hiring range based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. Exceptions are rare and aligned with position requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide support across all HR functions with a primary focus on workers' compensation coordination, benefits administration, and compliance.
- Manage workers' compensation claims including intake, follow-up, and coordination with third-party administrators.
- Coordinate and support administration of employee benefit programs, including enrollments, terminations, billing, and employee communications.
- Conduct small group training on workers' compensation processes and employee benefits.
- Perform regular audits of I-9 forms to ensure compliance and prepare for potential audits.
- Respond to staff inquiries related to HR, especially workers' compensation and benefits, with clear and timely communication.
- Assist employees with accessing and understanding company resources.
- Review system data and documents to meet department business needs.
- Assist in planning and organizing company events, trainings, and logistics.
- Run reports to support HR functions and data-driven tasks.
- Provide backup across all HR functions including onboarding, employee relations, payroll, and offboarding.
Qualifications
Associate degree required; minimum of three years' experience in a Human Resources role.At least two years' experience in benefits administration with a solid understanding of workers' compensation programs.Advanced Excel skills and experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS) strongly preferred.Strong written and verbal communication; ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong initiative, multi-project management, organization, and detail orientation.Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, adapt to changing priorities, and collaborate across teams.Education & Experience Notes
