Physical Requirements :
Frequent lifting, pushing, or pulling boxes weighing up to 50 lbs; sitting and using a computer keyboard and screen for long periods of time; possible exposure to dust and mold with protective gear provided.
Shift :
Anytime between 8 : 00 am-5 : 00 pm, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Job Summary :
Under the supervision of the University Archivist and working with other Special Collections Research Center Directors and employees, the STEPS Collections Move Assistant prepares and moves archival, rare and printed material, and artifacts and art objects out of the University of Kentucky Margaret I. King Library to on-site and off-site storage prior to library renovation.
