Director of Constituent Engagement and Leadership Gifts
The Director of Constituent Engagement and Leadership Gifts provides strategic leadership in three key areasfundraising, constituent engagement, and scholarship managementto strengthen donor relationships and advance the mission of North Hennepin Community College.
Fundraising Develops and implements a comprehensive fundraising plan to retain and increase donations, with a focus on leadership ($1,000+) and estate gifts. Manages a portfolio of donors through cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship to support the college's annual fund, scholarships, programs, and campus priorities.
Constituent Engagement Identifies and designs programs to strengthen connections with alumni, donors, and community members. Collaborates with faculty, staff, and campus departments to create meaningful engagement opportunities that deepen relationships with donors and inspire giving. Serves as the Foundation's representative to community organizations and, when needed, presents the impactful work of the college.
Scholarship Management Manages the college's scholarship program, including stewarding scholarship donors, marketing opportunities to students, coordinating the application and review process, and ensuring timely awarding of scholarships. Provides leadership to ensure scholarships are impactful, equitable, and aligned with donor intent.
This position plays a vital role in deepening alumni and community relationships, expanding philanthropic support, and ensuring scholarship opportunities for students. North Hennepin Community College serves one of the most diverse student populations in Minnesotamany of whom are first-generation students, working adults, or balancing significant life responsibilities. As part of a small but mighty Foundation team, the Director works collaboratively to remove barriers to education and help students succeed and thrive.
