The Role

Research, develop, and design electrical solutions for

system integration of components and equipment

onboard US Navy Ships. Perform cognizant engineering

liaison with other engineering disciplines and lead

shipcheck and drawing development efforts. Ability to

coordinate drawing development efforts with Design,

Engineering, and QA teams, resolving issues and

answering questions as required. Ability to work with

waterfront personal on resolving issues that arise during

installations. Develop and -coordinate drawing changes.

Review Government Furnished Information and

coordinate with Engineering / Design team to validate

technical information and insure proper design is

accomplished.

Must Have

Candidate must be a current Ingalls Shipbuilding employee. 9 Years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in related field; 7 years of relevant professional experience with a Master's Degree; 4 years of relevant professional experience with a PhD.

Nice to Have

A C4ISR / Warfare Systems background is preferred.

Competent in software (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD,

Shipconstructor, ARAS, Bluebeam, and NavisWorks).

Proficient in the wire connect tool EDP.
