Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will :
Direct and manage all onsite project activities in a structured manner to ensure projects are delivered on time, safely, within budget, and to exceptional quality standardsMonitor daily / weekly project requirements, document progress updates, and communicate with project managersProcure materials and coordinate delivery schedulesDirect labor and material resources onsite while coordinating all required inspections and compliance activitiesSupervise daily field operations to maintain proper site safety, construction progress, and quality standardsMaintain organized, clean work environmentsConduct thorough inspectionsDirect multiple crews across multiple projects simultaneouslyEnsure complete execution of punch list itemsEvaluate subcontractor performance against established timelines and quality benchmarks to guarantee on-schedule completion and superior workmanshipEnforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols on all construction sites to prevent accidents and delays, promptly reporting any issues to the project managerVerify each project delivers a premium end product through daily onsite assessments and construction staff oversightContract with subcontractors and confirm all necessary permits are securedDocument daily project progress and home repair updates for both the project manager and homeownerRequired Qualifications
Minimum 18 months of experience in construction, restoration, or renovation work; 3+ years strongly preferredProficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and project reportsWillingness to participate in rotational after-hours on-call scheduleExperience with Xactimate software (highly valued)Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills and multitasking abilitiesSelf-motivated with proven ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environmentsPhysical capability to lift at least 40 lbs and operate heavy equipmentComprehensive knowledge of the construction industry and building processes, including building codes, permits, construction equipment, material sourcing, project management principles, and construction methodologiesHigh school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
