Job Title : Assistant Maintenance Manager (PVD2 - AMM)Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team in the fast-growing and dynamic logistics and fulfillment industry. You will be responsible for managing the maintenance team and ensuring the smooth operation of electrical and mechanical equipment, primarily consisting of conveying and sorting systems. Your role will involve assigning job plans, formulating standards and work procedures, and maintaining positive relations with both customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Assign job plans and accomplish departmental goals using experience and judgment.
• Manage all maintenance team members at the site.
• Demonstrate leadership and good judgment in decision-making.
• Assist in formulating standards and work procedures while providing feedback on service delivery discrepancies.
• Maintain positive customer and employee relations.
• Ensure that Maintenance department objectives and key metrics are met.
• Act as a liaison to Account Manager, Planners, Customers, and the Department.
• Lead team members by providing coaching and mentoring with high standards.
• Ensure compliance with company and customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee all applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
• Develop and oversee QA / QC inspection protocol for all work personnel and performed work.
• Achieve performance expectations as part of performance appraisals.
• Communicate with all team members to support the development of short and long-range goals and objectives.

Work Environment

This role involves working in a brand-new facility where performance is tracked by data and numbers. Flexibility in shift work is required, including the possibility of working holidays and weekends.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00 / yr.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Johnston,RI.
