Automotive Mechanic

Location : Allen Park, MI

Pay : 19-21 / hour

Position Overview

Join our dynamic prototype automotive team as an Automotive Mechanic, where you will support innovative projects by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse fleet of vehicles. Work hands-on in a collaborative environment, with mentorship and learning opportunities, as you help develop the future of automotive technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Diagnostics & Repairs : Perform diagnostic checks and repairs on mechanical and electrical vehicle systems using repair orders and technical guidance.
• Component Replacement : Remove, repair, and replace faulty parts, components, and systems as required.
• Documentation : Accurately document maintenance actions, parts used, and service results in digital or paper records.
• Procedure Compliance : Interpret and follow manufacturer and company-provided service procedures and safety protocols.
• Equipment Maintenance : Ensure shop equipment is in safe working order, conduct routine maintenance, and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Team Collaboration : Engage with team members for project work and contribute to a positive, safety-focused workshop environment.
• Shop Organization : Maintain an organized and clean work area and participate in daily shop upkeep.
