A respected and long-standing St. Louis law firm is seeking an Estate Planning Attorney to join its team. The firm serves individuals, families, and business owners with tailored estate planning and tax strategies, and the ideal candidate will have experience in both planning and administration. Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolLicensed and in good standing with the Missouri Bar (Illinois Bar admission a plus)3+ years of experience in estate planning and trust / estate administrationStrong knowledge of federal and state estate, gift, and income tax lawsExcellent drafting skills for wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related planning documentsAbility to manage complex client matters with attention to detail and accuracyStrong interpersonal and communication skills with a client service focusResponsibilities
Counsel clients on estate and wealth transfer planning, charitable giving, and business succession strategiesDraft and review estate planning documents including wills, trusts, and powers of attorneyRepresent clients in trust and estate administration, including probate proceedingsProvide tax planning advice related to estate and gift strategiesWork collaboratively with accountants, financial advisors, and other professionals to deliver holistic planning solutionsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of tax and estate law developments to provide proactive guidanceFor this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
