Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Journeyman Painters for projects located in and around Indianapolis, IN. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of $26-28 / hour based on experience & skill level. If you are a Painter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope :

  • Perform preventive maintenance repair and alteration work
  • Interior and exterior painting
  • Vinyl wall covering repair and installation
  • Vinyl base installation
  • Plaster and drywall patching
  • Interior and exterior caulking
  • Assist other shops with maintenance repair
  • Comply with Building Authority policies procedures and safety regulations
  • Other tasks assigned

Responsibilities

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience and working knowledge with general painting finish painting and refinishing work
  • Previous experience and working knowledge with electrostatic and roll and brush equipment
  • Ability to work flexible schedule
  • Valid Indiana Drivers License
  • Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently
  • Ability to lift up to at least 50lbs
