Fast growing, material handling and storage innovation company searching for an experienced Sales & Marketing Product leader to join our team as General Manager. Role will be responsible for overall organizational strategy, including financial performance, and providing strategic direction to double revenue in three years. Will drive productivity and continuous improvement through all of the business functions. Role will report directly to the President with direct reports for Sales / Marketing, Engineering and Ops / Project Management.

Position will be based full time on-site at the Waukesha, WI location; Monday-Friday; overtime, travel, and weekends as needed to support the business growth.
Sales / Marketing
- Lead pricing strategy development for both standard and custom product lines, including discount concessions and vendor impact / considerations ; guide and align quotation processes with sales strategies and growth targets.
- Lead / implement marketing strategy to support high growth business.
- Decision making on marketing spends, and approach for content / digital.
- Drive outbound marketing to support lead generation.
- Determine target industries.
- Determine post sale marketing strategy and customer support model.
- Manage website execution and drive sales through CRM platform.
- Assist in frontlines sales generation, qualification and execution.
Engineering / Product
Determine and drive product roadmap for organization via voice of the customer, emerging product markets, etc.Ensure a service and solution orientated engineering response model and support consistent internal engineering standards.Ensure ANSI industry safety / engineering requirements, fabrication manufacturing capabilities, manufacturability for customer liaison.Drive and support engineering innovation to align with the growth strategy and client requirements.Operations / Project Management
Work with manufacturing partners, to ensure optimized designs and configurations for manufacturing efficiency.Determine additional manufacturing sources.Job and product line pricing structure, costing analysis, profitability & vendor management.Support manufacturing / vendor organization(s) with continuous improvement initiatives.Serving the Team
Lead by example at all times.Coaching & development of team.Financial Performance
Participate in ERP integration with Epicor.Oversee Product Configurator integration feature
P&L and Budget Responsibilities.Participate in monthly financial reviews.Operational cost & profitability analysis.Requirements :
Required Qualifications
BS / BA Degree (Engineering, Business)5 years OEM / product manufacturing experienceExperience in sales leadership role including P&L responsibilitiesExperience in product price modeling, quoting, and manufacturing cost control strategiesDecisive, with a growth mindsetHigh EQ, adept in building relationships to influence resultsAbility to travel as neededPreferred Qualifications
MBA or advanced degreeMinimum 5 years’ experience in the metals related business3 or more years’ experience in a technical sales roleExperience in industrial material handling business preferredUnderstanding of sheet metal fabrication capabilitiesKnowledge of ANSI industry standards
