We are looking for a HR Generalist for our Monroe, MI location. The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the execution of corporate and site Human Resources processes and providing consultative Human Resources guidance to site leaders and team members.

Responsibilities :

• Understands the Corporate organization structure and creates all new hire, promotion, compensation change and organizational change documents for processing.
• Ensures functional compliance with all federal, state, and local statutory requirements including EEO, NLRB, OFCCP, etc., and develops, manages, and maintains an effective site Affirmative Action Program (AAP) that is compliant with federal laws and the scrutiny of OFCCP.
• Participates in all employment activities for the site including interviewing, screening, hiring, placing, and orientating all team members.
• Participates in site engagement planning and activities.
• Contributes to the achievement of Company goals and staff satisfaction through the design and implementation of employee relations strategies.
• Provides consultation to site leaders and team members on Human Resources matters.
• Consults on workplace guidelines, policies, and procedures in accordance with the Company's strategies and legal requirements.
• Works with Learning Development and EHS to establish training plan for site.
• Oversees the site's annual Performance Review cycle and Individual Development Plan (IDP) processes for timely completion and process integrity.
• Assists Functional teams with Intern / Co-op Program initiatives, recruitment, and training.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.
