As a Home Care Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) you will provide physical therapy services to the organization's clients under the guidance and supervision of the Physical Therapist, and in accordance with a written plan of treatment established by the physician and physical therapist.

Responsibilities :
Provides physical therapy services to clients according to a physician's written order and therapist plan of care.Implements the care plans for clients developed by the supervisory Physical Therapist.Provides direct physical therapy treatment to clients as assigned.Instructs clients and family members in the use and care of therapeutic appliances and devices, such as wheelchairs, braces, etc.Assists in assessing the client's need for physical therapy devices and interventions.Reports to physician, PT, RN or branch management as necessary regarding the client's response / reaction to treatment or a change in conditionMinimum Qualifications :
Licensed PTA within the State of MichiganGraduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.Minimum of six months experience under a qualified Physical Therapist.Home health experience preferredMust be able to function in a practice environment with minimal direct supervision, accepting personal responsibility for maintaining a professional relationship with the agency's clients and their families.Must accept responsibility for maintaining clinical practice skills learning and adhering to agency's policies and procedures on an on-going basis.Ability to consistently demonstrate commitment to the mission and Organizational Code of Ethics and adhere to the Compliance Program.Must have current Driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work site.Benefits Highlights :
