Overview
These positions are unclassified, non-civil service, hourly positions. Individuals in these positions must be able to work flexible hours. Under general supervision, classifications in this occupational series perform a wide variety of work involving monitoring programs and the maintenance and cleaning of City parks, buildings, and facilities.

Facility Attendant I
Wage Range : $17.84 - $19.85 per hour
Experience : No experience required.
Desirable Qualifications : One year of experience working directly with the public and / or performing light maintenance or custodial duties is desirable. Communicate in languages commonly spoken in the community is desirable.
Facility Attendant II
Wage Range : $20.34 - $22.65 per hour
Experience : One year of experience working directly with the public and / or performing light maintenance or custodial duties.
Desirable Qualifications : Communicate in languages commonly spoken in the community is desirable.
Note
An equivalent combination of experience, education and / or training may be considered as a substitute for the listed minimum requirements.

Evaluation and Selection
Evaluation of applications : All applications, resumes, and submitted materials will be reviewed. Only the best-qualified candidates based on applicable experience will be invited to the selection process. Due to high application volume, the City cannot guarantee an interview for all applicants.
Oral interview : Weight of 100% to evaluate the applicant's experience, education, and general background. Time and place of the examination will be announced. The examination will assess education, experience, knowledge and skills. A background check, including Livescan fingerprinting, may be required. The City reserves the right to modify components or weights and will notify candidates if changes occur. The City conforms with state and federal requirements to make reasonable accommodations for applicants and employees with disabilities.
