CNN is seeking a Marketing Analytics Analyst to join our Growth Analytics team. This role will support our go-to-market efforts by conducting in-depth campaign analysis, developing reporting, and sharing insights about what is and isn’t working in marketing with business leads. The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, and eager to grow their analytics skillset in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The Daily
As a Analyst, Marketing Analytics, you will :
Analyze marketing campaign performance across channels to identify what is and isn’t working in our growth marketing initiatives.
Support reporting and dashboarding efforts to track key marketing KPIs.
Assist in evaluating marketing effectiveness by evaluating campaigns in terms of ROI, CPA, and other efficiency metrics.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and other analysts to understand campaign goals and translate them into measurable outcomes.
Identify opportunities to improve our data stack by simplifying processes like the complex conditional logic that goes into identifying marketing channels.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting tools and platforms.
Present findings in a clear, actionable format to stakeholders across Marketing, Growth, and Strategy teams.
The Essentials
1+ years of experience in analytics, preferably in marketing, digital media, e-commerce, or streaming.
Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing data.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
Familiarity with marketing concepts such as ROI, ROAS, LTV, and attribution.
Strong attention to detail and a logical mindset.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Nice-to-Haves
Exposure to campaign measurement or media mix modeling.
Experience working with marketing teams or in a subscription-based business.
Familiarity with Python or R (not required).
Understanding of A / B testing principles (not required but a plus).

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and / or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range : $91,140.00 - $169,260.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
