About The Position

Job Title : Travel RN

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum 1 year in specialty, with a preferred 2 years of experience. Consideration given to candidates with 18 months of experience in a similar role.

License : Registered Nurse, Alabama or compact license

Certifications : AHA BLS or Red Cross Certification

Must-Have : Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals.

Description :

Our travel RN position is for a Med Surg Telemetry specialty.

The unit is focused on cardiac telemetry care.

Nurses will manage a patient ratio of 1 : 6.

Candidates will provide care primarily to cardiac patients, including those experiencing chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, and various arrhythmias.

The role also includes providing care for medical patients with conditions such as pneumonia, GI issues, COPD, diabetes, and occasional stroke, as well as surgical patients.

Team members are expected to deliver patient-centered care to support recovery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Candidates must be committed to working as required on holidays.

Every other weekend commitment is expected.
