Executive Assistant To AVP Of Enrollment Management

Provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Associate Vice President (AVP) for Enrollment Management and serves as a key resource for the Division of Enrollment Management. Ensures smooth day-to-day operations and builds and maintains division-wide coordination by supporting office operations, managing accounting and purchasing processes, assisting with onboarding and orientation of new employees, and serving as the first point of contact for the division. The position requires discretion, initiative, and a commitment to service excellence. Other duties as assigned.
35% - Essential - Administrative Support : Provides executive-level administrative support to the AVP, including calendar management, meeting preparation, travel arrangements, correspondence, and project coordination. Coordinates division-wide communication and assists with maintaining records, reports, and databases. Anticipates needs and proactively addresses operational and scheduling priorities.
30% - Essential - Accounting & Purchasing Support : Assists with processing financial transactions including purchasing, travel reimbursements, and budget tracking. Works closely with divisional and university business offices to ensure compliance with financial and procurement policies. Maintains accurate records and monitors budget-related activities as directed. Maintains current knowledge of financial policies, systems, and processes.
20% - Essential - Division Operations & Coordination : Serves as the primary initial point of contact for the Division of Enrollment Management, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and helpful first impression for students, families, employees, and partners. Supports division-wide consistency and alignment by coordinating office procedures, resources, and inter-office communication practices. Assists with planning and logistics for division meetings, events, and professional development. Manages office inventory, equipment, surplus, and maintenance. Liaises with CCIT for technical issues or needs.
20% - Essential - Employee Onboarding & Engagement : Liaises between HR and Enrollment Management regarding new hire and separation processes and procedures. Supports onboarding activities for new staff in the division, ensuring consistent and supportive experiences. Assists with maintaining divisional resources such as organizational charts, directories, and shared documents. Supports initiatives that enhance employee engagement and internal communication.
Education - High School or Equivalent - A bachelor's degree may be substituted for required work experience.
Experience - Relevant experience in business management, public administration or administrative services.
Demonstrated experience providing executive-level administrative support. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Expected Salary Range : $ 47,588.00 - $ 57,362.25
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
