Role Overview
The Marketing Coordinator will assist in overseeing Amazon promotions & marketing programs, trade show planning and execution, and external marketing partnerships. This role is based in-office five days a week at our Rolling Meadows, IL (NW suburbs of Chicago) location off of Route 53 and I-90.
Key Responsibilities
- Amazon Promotions & Feedback : Assist or oversee some key aspects of Amazon including our Vine program (product giveaways), Brand Tailored Promotions, product refunds & customer question scripts, coupons, Voice of the Customer, feedback reviews, as well as other Amazon functions.
- Amazon Execution : With the help of other internal stakeholders, assist with the rollout of new content on Amazon after development by our design team. This includes making sure content is uploaded in a timely manner on a variety of touch points on Amazon.
- Performance-Driven Approach : Track the impact of changes on the Amazon platform on sales and use data to guide future strategies.
- Trade Show Strategy : Oversee and execute trade shows for roughly 4 to 5 annual trade shows, including booth setup, and logistics, signage, product selection, and on-site presentation.
- Event Execution : Be on-site for key trade shows to oversee setup, ensure visual excellence, work booth, and troubleshoot in real time. Also help plan and execute key partnership visits in the office.
- Paid Partnerships : Lead the management, pitching, and execution of new partnerships with Desert Cactus executives to generate incremental revenue-collaborating with brand partners and external groups, including college-specific fan organizations.
- Social Media Support : Occasionally support visual assets for quarterly newsletters, LinkedIn posts about product announcements & launches, as well as other media channels like Instagram.
Qualifications
