Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Tech / Media Full-Time in Burbank, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, working together to put people first and always act with integrity. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activity according to site protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and / or contractors regarding site policies and procedures.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during the shift.
  • Support emergency response efforts by following site-specific protocols and instructions from management or emergency personnel.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
