Overview :
Reports to the Director of Imaging Services and collaborate department activities under the direction of Radiologist at Mercy Hospital Fort Smith. Responsible for staff at locations of Mercy Hospital as well as outpatient location Mercy Tower West.
Successfully performs all radiology and Computerized Tomography (CT-Scan) procedures as outlined in the Arkansas Department of Health Policy and Procedure Manual and assumes accountability and responsibility for accurate results.
Complete educational program and proficiency challenges to coworkers annually. Demonstrate competency in accordance to ADH requirement and hospital policy.
Maintain budgetary control and productivity as set forth by Mercy.
Activity participate in quality improvement / performance improvement process outline by Mercy.
Ensure safety of coworkers, patients, and visitors related to radiation. Continue to monitor all coworkers exposure level and report to appropriate leadership team.
Qualifications :
Education : Graduate of and approved Radiology School.
Position requires individuals to push, pull, and / or lift 50 pounds regularly.
Experience : Minimum of three years' experience in Radiology leadership role.
