Title : Local Food Procurement & Capacity Building Manager

FLSA Status : Full-Time Exempt Position

Pay : $55,000 - $60,000

Reports to : VP of Strategic Initiatives

Grant Contingent - 1 year

Position Overview

The Local Food Procurement and Capacity Building Specialist will be responsible for procuring food products from New Mexico growers and producers, establishing relationships and partnerships with applicable local entities and partner agencies, reporting products received and where they are delivered. This role will be responsible for securing appropriate documentation and following proper procedures to ensure timely payment. This position is also responsible for work directly related to capacity building projects in our network of partners, which may or may not involve local producers.
