Must-Have :

Experience in Medical-Surgical / Telemetry

Proficient in starting IVs, administering blood products, and managing central, peripheral, and PICC lines

Experience with heparin protocols, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and remote telemetry monitoring

1 year of EPIC experience required

Description :

This position requires a registered nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical / Telemetry.

The nurse will work on an Acute Care for the Elderly unit that provides telemetry-capable care for hospitalized patients aged 65 and older.

The focus is on preserving both cognitive and physical function to help patients return to their pre-admission baseline.

Staff will be required to float to other units or campuses as needed, limited to areas where qualifications and competencies have been documented.

The daily census for the unit is typically around 26 patients.

There will be a weekend requirement for every other weekend.

All requests for time off must be included with the submission to accommodate scheduling needs.

The registered nurse will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including therapy and response teams.

Strong experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry is essential for success in this role.
