Job Description

Position Overview :

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Associate to help drive growth and expand our footprint across target markets. This role is ideal for a candidate on the "greener side" with 3-5 years of experience -either from a general contractor (GC) background or a project manager / estimator with strong field and preconstruction experience looking to transition into a client-facing business development role.

You will be responsible for building relationships with new and existing customers, identifying opportunities, and supporting the sales cycle from prospecting through proposal development.

Key Responsibilities :

• Identify and develop relationships with key stakeholders at general contractors, developers, and end-users.
• Support strategic growth initiatives through market research, lead generation, and CRM tracking.
• Attend industry events, customer meetings, and project kickoffs to build trust and understand client needs.
• Collaborate with estimating and project management teams to develop proposals and support pre-bid efforts.
• Travel as needed to Detroit HQ for internal meetings and to client / project sites across key markets.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitors, and industry opportunities.
