Position Summary

The Lead Self-Direction Assistant oversees day-to-day operations of Home-Based Services, ensuring services meet the needs of people with disabilities and their families while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and funding requirements (DHS, IDPH, BQM, CMS, etc.). This role provides leadership, training, and mentorship to the team, maintains an active caseload, and acts as a trusted resource and advocate for families.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Support

• Train, mentor, and guide team members to ensure quality, consistent supports.
• Monitor required certifications and provide professional development opportunities.
• Contribute to strategic planning, goal setting, and budgeting.
• Lead Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) compliance efforts.
• Maintain an active caseload of HBS families.
