Special Education Teacher - Schools

Accountable School Staffing is currently interviewing Special Education Teachers for an ASAP 2025-2026 school year assignment in Denton, TX! We are working with a district to provide full-time SPED Teachers for the full school year. This program is for students with the most significant social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. The descriptions of the openings are below : -Elementary SLS -Middle School SLS -High School SLS -Elementary PABS -Middle School PABS SLS Classrooms : Contract teachers will provide instruction and support for students with high levels of autism who present significant behavioral and communication challenges. As special education teachers, they will implement programs such as Rethink, Unique Learning System (ULS), and discrete trial teaching, while maintaining strong routines, structure, and consistency. Teachers must also be skilled in data collection to monitor progress. Teachers will also be responsible for completing ARD paperwork and participating in ARD meetings. PABS Classrooms : Contract teachers will provide instruction and support for students with significant behavioral and emotional challenges. As special education teachers, they will deliver instruction using the Edmentum curriculum, modifying lessons as needed to meet IEP requirements. They will implement and monitor individualized behavioral leveling systems, maintain strong routines, structure, and consistency, and collect data to track student progress. Teachers will also be responsible for completing ARD paperwork and participating in ARD meetings. TX state professional license required.
