Epic charting system experience required

Ability to work 2 out of 3 holidays if needed

Description :

The role involves providing case management services in a healthcare setting.

The nurse will coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication among interdisciplinary team members.

Experience with acute hospital care is necessary.

Proficiency in utilizing InterQual Criteria and Milliman Guidelines is required.

Knowledge of CMS regulations and compliance standards must be demonstrated.

A strong understanding of medical necessity and discharge planning is essential.

Skills in appeals and denials processes, concurrent review, and continued stay reviews are necessary.

The nurse will also need familiarity with coding practices, including CPT and ICD-10.

Upholding HIPAA guidelines and adherence to safety regulations is expected.

Patient age groups will primarily consist of adults and geriatrics.

The daily census is approximately 350 patients.
