job_description.job_card.job_descriptionConducts Psychiatric Evaluations. Provides Medication Management. Reviews Laboratory work. Certifies for Medical Necessity. Follows-up with medication management issues. Follows the Center’s procedure for proper storage and dispensing of sample medication. Responsible for providing patients with medication education and literature for possible side-effects. Follows up with Primary Health Physician forms. Attends multidisciplinary case staffing when needed. Follows-up on information requests by pharmacies. Is available to staff, funding sources, and patients for psychiatric consultation. Participate in psychiatric peer review when needed. Procures the taking of vital signs in the absence of a medical assistant. Attends The Center’s meetings as requested. Carries cellular phone for availability to the Center. Follows The Center’s policies and procedures. Master’s of Science in Nursing and post Master’s certification. Minimum of 2 years of experience with children and adolescents. Bilingual (English-Spanish or English-Creole) preferred.
