Our client is seeking an experienced HR Manager – Talent Acquisition (Legal) to lead our recruiting team and play a key role in shaping the future of our legal talent pipeline. This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic recruitment initiatives, overseeing end-to-end hiring processes, and driving diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of talent acquisition.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in legal recruitment, a passion for people, and a results-driven mindset to help us attract, engage, and retain top legal professionals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing recruitment team to meet hiring targets.
- Develop and execute effective hiring strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Utilize a variety of sourcing channels to attract top attorney talent and legal professionals.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR leadership to ensure alignment on talent needs and candidate selection.
- Continuously analyze and enhance recruitment processes to improve efficiency and time-to-fill metrics.
- Champion inclusive hiring practices and help increase representation across the organization.
- Optimize recruitment efforts through the use of Applicant Tracking Systems and other HR technologies.
- Strengthen and promote the employer brand to attract and retain high-quality candidates.
- Support broader HR functions, including training, professional development, and performance evaluations.
- Contribute to overall HR operations as needed to support team and company goals.
Qualifications & Skills :
Proven success in leading recruitment teams and delivering on hiring goals.Strong knowledge of labor laws, hiring compliance, and HR best practices.Experience with high-volume hiring and managing external recruitment partners.Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR / recruiting software.Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, customer service-oriented approach.Solid understanding of core HR functions including onboarding, training, and compensation.Prior experience in the legal industry is required.Education & Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory, training, or HR business partner role.Seniority level
