Opportunity
The Showroom Manager is responsible for all aspects of\nfinancial performance of a showroom including sales, margins, and expenses.\nThis role is critical in delivering a gracious client experience, driving sales\ngrowth through client acquisition (Territory Management) and retention (Account\nManagement) of Architect & Design community relationships. The Showroom\nManager is responsible for coaching, mentoring, and developing a sales team in\nline with company values, fostering an inclusive working environment. Success\nin the position is measured by the achievement of both sales and operating\nprofit, talent development, and client satisfaction.

Specific Responsibilities
- Deliver\n a customer experience worthy of the Ann Sacks brand.
- Set\n and manage expectations for the customer experience.
- Maintain\n showroom to the high standards consistent with the Ann Sacks brand.
- Train\n all associates on the company’s expected processes for showroom and\n outreach sales process, ensuring consistent, high-quality interactions at\n each stage of the sales process.
- Effectively\n resolve customer issues, ensuring timely resolution of problems.
- Lead\n by example, developing your own client relationships, delivering superior\n service and sales results.
- Create\n connections with the architectural and design community through active\n participation in trade, industry and networking groups and events. Design\n in-showroom events to further solidify these relationships and drive\n continued business growth.
Attract, develop and retain high-performance talent :
Build\n a strong network and talent pipeline within the industry and among skilled\n sales professionals in your showroom’s geographic area. Utilize the\n strong connections with this network to recruit new sales staff for your\n showroom as headcount needs arise.Own\n the new hire on-boarding experience for all showroom sales and support\n staff; manage the new hire training process, assess the rate of learning\n and adjust training plans as needed. Provide interactive discussions and\n role plays to new sales staff to give them the opportunity to practice and\n solidify new skills.Partner\n with regional manager and internal training resources to understand the\n ongoing development needs at the individual contributor and overall team\n level, and develop appropriate plans and objectives for showroom staff.Manage performance results :
Ensure\n operational and sales goals are met for the showroom, through effective\n management of individual contributor results, management of margin, cost\n control and operational efficiencies. Take full ownership for managing the\n P&L for the showroom.Review\n and assess sales associates’ forecasts, working with associates to develop\n strategies and approaches to ensure sales goals are met or exceeded.Provide\n partnership and mentoring to the sales staff on strategies to help close\n the deal, including strategies for presentations, follow-up, outreach\n plans and pricing promotions.Balance\n the drive to close sales with big-picture understanding of margin and\n profit goals.Drive\n associate territory development strategies, effectively constructing\n robust High Impact Activities, including outreach to build new business,\n revitalize past contacts, and keep Ann Sacks at the forefront for\n decision-makers in the architectural and design community.Proactively\n coach associates who are not meeting performance expectations, to identify\n deliverables and expectations to get performance back on track.Partner\n with regional manager and human resources as needed on disciplinary action\n and formal performance improvement plans.Drive sales floor of the showroom :
Ensure\n appropriate staffing and training in all roles.Manage\n time and attendance, including coordination of staff work and vacation\n schedules, and adjustments to schedules as needed to meet business\n demands.Drive\n all reporting processes for the showroom, including daily, weekly, monthly\n and annual reports. Take appropriate actions to ensure maximum\n profitability and efficiency of the business based on your analysis of the\n report data.Ensure\n office support structure is maintained, including supplies and equipment.\n \n
Skills / Requirements
\n \n
This\n position requires prior sales / showroom or architectural / design firm\n experience, with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience, and a minimum\n of 5 years’ experience managing a sales team within a department or store\n location.Bachelor’s\n degree in business or management, or architecture or design is preferred.Plumbing\n and tile industry experience is a plus. Experience in a luxury sales\n environment preferred.#LI-Onsite
