At Truck Centers, Inc. , our Service Foreman isn’t just a shop leader—they’re a mentor, problem-solver, and key partner in keeping our customers on the road. In this role, you’ll combine your technical expertise with leadership skills to guide technicians, ensure quality repairs, and uphold the values of safety, empathy, and excellence that define who we are.
This position will work Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor technicians by offering guidance, support, and opportunities to grow their skills.
- Set the standard with strong work habits, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Keep the team connected by holding weekly huddles to share updates, provide feedback, and discuss shop operations, safety, and cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with company and OEM policies while documenting findings and communicating next steps with management.
- Support learning and development by providing product updates and technical training.
- Oversee repair progress through our Dealer Management System, ensuring jobs stay on track and communicating proactively with dispatch.
- Serve as a liaison between technicians, service admin staff, and customers to keep operations running smoothly and minimize delays.
- Communicate with customers requiring technical expertise, providing updates with clarity and professionalism.
- Monitor shop tools and facilities to ensure everything is safe, clean, organized, and compliant with Elite Support standards.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For :
3+ years of experience in a diesel or truck repair environmentStrong mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks and diesel systemsExcellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsDeep commitment to delivering high-quality work and prioritizing safety in fast-paced environmentsProficient with repair order systems and service management softwareFundamental welding and fabrication skillsAbility to lead by example and maintain a productive, team-oriented environmentCertifications / Licenses Needed :
Valid Driver’s License and ability to meet insurance requirements; Class A CDL with air brake endorsement is highly preferredHVAC certification requiredWillingness to obtain a minimum of 50% DTNA expert-level certifications is requiredCummins IS engine training required; other manufacturer credentials are strongly recommendedWHAT WE OFFER :
Pay Range : $56,193.28 - $84,289.92 per year with incentive eligibility.
