Key Responsibilities

Assemble and wire electrical control panels and enclosures based on engineering drawings and schematics, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards throughout the build process.

Lead the design and development of industrial control systems that meet or exceed client specifications.

Create detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD or similar tools.

Conduct engineering analyses including load calculations, component placement, and functional safety assessments.

Develop comprehensive bills of materials (BOMs) and support procurement of components and vendor services.

Produce and review final electrical assembly and fabrication drawings; contribute to OEM manuals and project submittal packages.

Ensure all designs comply with NEC, energy codes, and relevant industry standards.

Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers, and software teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.

Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and training sessions to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Uphold all company safety policies and maintain compliance with internal and external quality standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design and engineering, preferably in an industrial or energy-related environment.

Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.

Familiarity with hand and power tools used in panel fabrication and wiring, including :

Wire strippers, crimpers, and cutters

Torque screwdrivers and nut drivers

Multimeters and continuity testers

Labeling machines and terminal block tools

Drill presses and panel punches (for enclosure modifications)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship and safety.

Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), energy codes, and applicable industry regulations.

Hands-on experience with industrial control systems, including PLCs and VFDs.

Ability to read, interpret, and create 2D and 3D technical drawings and schematics.

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
