We are seeking an accomplished Director of EVS Sales to serve as Jani-King’s healthcare industry subject matter expert. In this role, you will identify and secure Environmental Services (EVS) opportunities within medical and healthcare facilities, lead proposal development, and provide training and operational guidance to ensure service excellence. You will be the go-to resource for EVS expertise, helping our franchise owners succeed in this highly regulated, specialized market.

Position Summary

Based at our Corporate Office in Addison, Texas, the Director of EVS Sales plays a pivotal role in expanding Jani-King’s footprint in the healthcare sector. This highly visible position combines strategic sales leadership, in-depth industry expertise, and hands-on client engagement to drive growth in Environmental Services (EVS). You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new healthcare EVS opportunities, developing competitive proposals, and supporting franchise owners through account start-up and ongoing service delivery.

In addition to building business relationships with hospital systems, clinics, and other healthcare facilities, you will ensure all EVS programs meet the strict regulatory requirements of the healthcare industry. This includes overseeing training on compliance protocols, infection prevention measures, and operational best practices. Success in this role requires a blend of sales acumen, project management skills, and the ability to lead others in delivering exceptional service in a complex and demanding market.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive EVS Business Development : Identify, research, and pursue new Environmental Services (EVS) opportunities within hospitals, medical centers, outpatient clinics, and other healthcare facilities. Build relationships with decision-makers and influencers to position Jani-King as the preferred EVS provider.
• Lead Proposal & Bid Development : Oversee the creation of customized, competitive proposals for healthcare EVS contracts. Collaborate with operations, marketing, and finance to ensure bids are comprehensive, cost-effective, and aligned with client requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct Facility Assessments : Perform detailed site visits and walkthroughs to evaluate facility needs, recommend solutions, and scope service requirements for accurate pricing and resourcing.
• Champion Healthcare Compliance : Ensure all EVS programs adhere to strict healthcare regulations, including Medicare / Medicaid, OSHA, EPA, TJC, HIPAA, and state health department requirements. Provide ongoing updates to franchise owners on regulatory changes and compliance best practices.
• Deliver Training & Onboarding : Design and deliver EVS-specific training for franchise owners and staff, covering infection prevention, sanitation protocols, safety procedures, and specialized floor care techniques. Provide hands-on coaching during account start-ups and transitions.
• Oversee Account Start-Ups : Lead implementation plans for new healthcare accounts, ensuring smooth onboarding, staffing, supply chain coordination, and operational readiness from day one.
• Monitor Quality & Service Delivery : Support franchise owners with quality control processes, site inspections, and corrective action plans to maintain Jani-King’s high standards of service and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate Across Departments : Work closely with corporate and regional leadership, marketing, and operations teams to align sales strategies with service delivery capabilities and brand standards.
• Represent Jani-King in the Healthcare Community : Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand brand visibility, stay informed on market trends, and cultivate new business relationships.
• Stay Ahead of Industry Trends : Maintain current knowledge of EVS innovations, cleaning technologies, equipment, and infection control practices to continuously improve service offerings.

Location and Environment

This position is based at our Jani-King Corporate Office , located at :

You’ll work primarily on-site in a professional corporate setting, with regular collaboration across multiple departments—including operations, marketing, franchise support, and executive leadership. The role requires frequent interaction with both internal teams and external partners, including franchise owners, healthcare administrators, and industry contacts.

While much of your time will be spent in the office developing proposals, conducting research, and leading strategic planning, you’ll also travel regularly to franchise locations, client sites, and industry events. These visits will often involve conducting facility walkthroughs, leading training sessions, overseeing account start-ups, and attending high-level client meetings.

This is a highly visible and dynamic role that blends corporate strategy with in-field execution. Expect a healthy mix of structured office work and hands-on engagement in real-world healthcare environments. Travel may include both day trips and overnight stays to ensure the successful launch and ongoing support of EVS programs nationwide.
