Compensation

Salary Range : $21.00 - $27.68 / hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Responsibilities

Position Overview :

Prepares and stores hospital supplies, surgical instruments, and equipment. Assembles packs of supplies, instruments and dressing and treatment trays, according to designated lists or codes, and wraps, labels, and seals packs. Maintains sterile supplies on shelves. Delivers sterile and other supplies to hospital departments. Operates, repairs or adjusts minor equipment. Stores prepared articles and supplies in designated areas. Fills requisitions, ensures charge slips are placed on supplies, charges and inventories supplies. Prepares supplies and charges for resale to physicians.Orders special and stock items with approval from Central Services Supervisor.

Qualifications

Required :

High school diploma or GED.

• Minimum of three months related experience and / or training required.
• Must be able to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
