We're seeking a Director of Engineering to lead strategic initiatives across a multi-site specialty chemical manufacturing network . This role is central to driving process reliability , asset performance , and capital execution in highly regulated chemical environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in chemical process engineering , strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for operational excellence in the chemical sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement reliability benchmarks tailored to specialty chemical manufacturing.
• Analyze process KPIs (e.g., yield, uptime, throughput) to identify gaps and drive improvements.
• Lead capital projects ($10M-$50M annually) from scope development through commissioning.
• Manage capital budgets and approval workflows (CAR / TRB), ensuring alignment with cost and timeline goals.
• Champion preventive and predictive maintenance programs aligned with chemical industry standards.
• Collaborate with site engineering leads to develop business cases and apply value engineering principles.
• Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams, including rotational programs and career pathways.
