job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel as required. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence. Monitor for suspicious activity, hazards, or potential security-related issues during patrols, reporting findings according to site protocols. Maintain accurate records and logs related to security-related activities, incidents, and patrols, in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials of individuals entering designated areas as outlined by site policies. Support emergency response protocols when applicable, including guiding individuals to designated areas or providing information to emergency responders. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED. Must be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Job Description
As a Security Officer - Transportation Facility Patrol in East Saint Louis, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more.
As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol transportation locations to help maintain a secure environment for all individuals on site. Your presence and regular patrols will help to deter incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. This role offers the chance to interact with the public and contribute to a positive atmosphere, all while working within a team-driven, people-first company that values reliability, integrity, and innovation.
