Contract Administrator

What you’ll do
- Project manage the contract lifecycle from intake to execution : scope requirements, set timelines, run stakeholder updates, clear blockers, and drive to on-time completion.
- Lead contract negotiations in partnership with the Chief Legal Officer / attorney : draft and redline, propose fallback positions, align on playbooks, and close favorable terms.
- Build and improve processes : create intake forms, SOPs, templates, playbooks, RACI / SLAs, and reporting that scale the department’s effectiveness.
- Lead the implementation and optimization of contract lifecycle management by collaborating with IT and business teams to ensure successful software deployment, data integrity, and streamlined workflow automation.
- Own the contracts database and legal intranet pages : governance, taxonomy, version control, and user enablement.
- Create actionable dashboards & reports (renewals, expirations, obligations, cycle time, negotiation outcomes, workload).
- Support legal responses : coordinate information gathering and document prep for subpoenas, discovery, and similar inquiries.
- Manage cross-functional work with Procurement, Sales, Finance, Ops, and external partners / consultants.
- Communicate crisply : run standups / check-ins, publish status updates, and brief execs on risk, path-to-green, and decisions needed.

College degree required.3+ years in a Contract Administrator or closely related role (in-house legal or commercial operations).Demonstrated project management capability : planning, timelines, stakeholder comms, risk / issue tracking, and delivery.Proven experience drafting / reviewing / redlining contracts and supporting / leading negotiations.Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and drive them to completion with minimal supervision.Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; DocuSign experience preferred.Clear, concise written and verbal communication and meticulous organization / time management.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, Juris Doctor a plus.In-house paralegal experience and / or exposure to customer service or procurement environments.Hands-on contract management / contract lifecycle management experience.Familiarity with building templates, playbooks, SOPs, SLAs, and reporting.The fine print
