Project Manager Multi-Family Construction

Location : Phoenix, AZ

Compensation : $130,000 $160,000 + benefits

Employment Type : Full-time, On-site

About the Role

A nationally recognized and long-standing general contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead multi-family residential projects from pre-construction through closeout. This is a key role for a builder known for strong client relationships, repeat business, and delivering large-scale residential work across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of multi-family construction projects from start to finish
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, RFIs, and documentation
  • Lead communication with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, QA / QC, and project specs
  • Conduct regular progress reviews and implement corrective measures as needed
  • Drive on-time, on-budget delivery while upholding high workmanship standards

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing multi-family construction projects
  • Strong understanding of construction means & methods, sequencing, and applicable codes
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in construction / project management software and tools
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)

    • Preferred Experience

  • Value engineering and / or design-build delivery exposure
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
