Wisper is seeking a full-time non-exempt Construction Tower Technician 1 (weekly local travel) to join our Network Construction Team . Responsibilities for this role include numerous manual labor tasks involved with the installation, service, and decommission of wireless internet service tower equipment throughout our network. In this position, the tasks will be assigned by the Tower Technician Lead based on individual job sites. Training will include best practices and safety standards. This position may require off duty hours work to be performed as needed by the department. This position does require up to 70% overnight travel within our Midwest network.

Construction Tower Tech I - Travel Position

Hours : 7 AM Starts 40 + hours / week

Pay : $19 - $21 per hour

Essential Job Functions

• Climb towers up to 1000 ft.
• Install / maintain wireless Internet equipment
• Mount Internet equipment & relay data cables to each device
• Install battery backups & grounding systems for equipment
• Prepare equipment for installation
• Follow training protocols & safety briefings
• Other duties as directed

Must be able to pass a Background Check, Motor Vehicle record check and a Drug Screen panel successfully.
