A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be specified on submission)
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend work required every other weekend
• No call requirements
• Patient ratio of 1 : 5 / 6 on a 60-bed medical unit
• Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed
• Care for medical patients post trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities
• Work with equipment including bladder scanner, vein finder, IV pumps, and wound vacs
• Use EPIC electronic medical records system
• Must have 1 year of Med Surg inpatient experience
• Current RN license (eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri)
• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA preferred
• Black scrubs required as dress code
• Night shift orientation occurs on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation
• Physical demands include standing and walking most of shift, bending, stooping, lifting and turning patients, push / pull up to 50 lbs
