Position Overview
We are seeking a Traveling Project Manager for our Mechanical Construction projects. This role is crucial for overseeing project developments from inception to completion, ensuring that all mechanical construction activities align with company standards and client expectations. The ideal candidate will manage budgets, schedules, and team dynamics while ensuring safety and quality throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage mechanical construction projects from start to finish.
- Develop, monitor, and control project budgets and schedules.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
- Conduct site supervision to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage contract negotiations and maintain client relations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project milestones are met.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Ensure all construction activities meet quality control standards and client expectations.
- Oversee procurement processes for necessary materials and equipment.
- Facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.Proven experience in project management within the mechanical construction industry.Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and risk management practices.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders.Experience in contract management and construction safety protocols.Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to travel to various construction sites as needed.Benefits
