ELECTRICIAN (Journeymen)

Infrahie is looking for Electrician - Journeyman in Silver Spring, MD

Job Summary

• Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, circuits, fixtures, and equipment within a residential community.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and drawings to determine job requirements and plan installations or repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical problems using appropriate testing instruments and equipment.
• Install and repair control and distribution apparatus including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, and circuit breaker panels.
• Install, connect, and test power supply wiring, cables, conduits, and electrical apparatus for machines and equipment.
• Ensure all work adheres to electrical codes, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and recommend necessary repairs for electrical systems and appliances.
• Maintain inventory of materials, tools, and equipment; request supplies as needed.
• Keep work areas and customer property neat, clean, and protected during and after job completion.
• Maintain records of work performed, including job logs, work orders, and invoices.
• Communicate professionally with customers; ensure customer satisfaction upon job completion.
• Respond to emergency maintenance and repair calls, including on-call duty after hours and weekends.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked work truck.
• Dispose of hazardous materials according to procedures and follow all safety practices.
• Work cooperatively with other trades, vendors, and internal customers; maintain positive working relationships.
• Other duties as assigned.
