Position Summary :
The Merchandising Coordinator provides day-to-day support to the Merchandising team by assisting with product setup, vendor communication, order processing, and in-store merchandising coordination. This position helps ensure that products are accurately ordered, delivered, and presented across stores in alignment with company standards. The role requires strong organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively between vendors, store teams, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support product setup by collecting and maintaining accurate information on item descriptions, pricing, and vendor details.
- Coordinate with suppliers to confirm product availability, order status, lead times, and shipping schedules.
- Prepare, review, and process daily purchase orders and requisitions in accordance with store needs.
- Follow up with vendors to track shipments and resolve any delivery delays or product discrepancies.
- Assist with product and promotional pricing updates to ensure accuracy across systems and store signage.
- Communicate merchandising plans, display instructions, and inventory updates to store teams.
- Compile sales and inventory data to support management reports and identify performance trends.
- Maintain up-to-date records for vendor communications, invoices, and purchase documentation.
- Provide administrative support for category reviews, vendor meetings, and promotional events.
- Participate in periodic store visits to verify product placement, promotional execution, and merchandising compliance.
- Assist with issue resolution related to invoicing, product quality, or stock variances.
- Perform additional merchandising or administrative duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field preferred.1–2 years of experience in merchandising coordination, retail operations, or administrative support.Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory systems.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.Willingness to travel occasionally for store or vendor visits (as needed).Work Schedule & Compensation :
Full-time hourly position (typically 40 hours per week).Eligible for overtime pay in accordance with state and federal labor laws.Some overtime or weekend hours may be required during promotional or seasonal periods.
