This role manages budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic financial planning to support company growth. + We’re looking for someone who :Holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred)Has 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or Controller rolePossesses experience in the construction, architecture, or engineering industryUnderstands GAAP, AIA billing, job costing, and WIP reportingIs proficient in accounting software and Excel (Sage 300, Deltek, or QuickBooks experience a plus)Demonstrates strong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsWorks independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail + What you’ll do :Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, AP / AR, payroll, and bank reconciliationsManage job costing, WIP schedules, and ensure accurate project-level financial reportingPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsLead budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysisEnsure compliance with industry standards, including AIA billing, lien waivers, and contract termsMaintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and financial proceduresCollaborate with project managers and estimators for accurate job trackingCoordinate audits, tax preparation, and communication with external CPAsImplement and maintain accounting systems and financial toolsProvide strategic financial insights and recommendations to leadershipMentor and lead a small accounting team Employment Type : Full Time Salary : $90,000 - $130,000 Annual Bonus / Commission : No
